Hey guys, I’m Hashi! I’m a new admin on the forums, and a new employee for Tofugu/TextFugu. I’ve been writing some posts for Tofugu over the last couple of months, and doing some behind-the-scenes stuff for both sites as well. You know the bounties you submit for TextFugu? I read ‘em all and fix a lot of ‘em.
I’m into computer games, music and of course, Japanese language and culture! :p

You seem to have a similar sense of humour to Koichi, but are you of the pun-loving persuasion too?
How did you and Koichi meet?Completely nothing-to-do-with-anything, but I must say that you have a very honest-looking face :P Koichi on the other hand… ;)
Going through bounties isn’t too bad. A lot of it is easy stuff like small typos.
Koichi and I have a pretty similar sense of humor, but I don’t know about the puns haha. We met at school.
Yeah, I’d look out for that Koichi guy, he’s pretty shifty.

Diablo 3, SC2, and Japanese rock bands, I optimistically presume?
Also, I imagine you have a high degree of proficiency in the Japanese language, since you work for Koichi. Are you a fluent speaker, or what?
Definitely lots of SC2, but sadly not a whole lot of Japanese rock. I’m really big into electronic music at the moment, but my interests bounce around from genre to genre quite a bit.
Sadly while I’ve taken quite a few years of Japanese classes, I’m badly out of practice so I’m probably not the most proficient right now.

I know this sounds kinda dumb but is Hashi really your name or any part of your name? And if it is, I guess that makes you some part Japanese?

Hashi is really part of my name, which really does make me some part Japanese. I’ll let you decide which part. :p
