    hi everyone!

    i think this is actually my first post in the new forum, but i posted a little bit in the old forum.

    anyway! some of you might remember i won a trip to japan, and it’s coming up very soon (end of the month)! i promised you guys i would give out my blog link before the trip, so you can follow along since i will be blogging every night :) here is the link:

    there’s obviously nothing on it just yet lol…but you can subscribe to it, bookmark it, whatever you’d like if you want to follow along :)

    also! i have not forgotten the photo requests! i’ll be taking loads of pics everyday, and i have specially marked these ones since they were mentioned in the old forum topic:

    - missingno15: akb48
    - kaona: harajuku shops/people dressed up/anything cute
    - bbvoncrumb: normal japan. people walking/train stations/ramen shops in alleys
    - lord honk: japanese ducks

    so i will try my best! some of these will be easier than others lol ;)

    out of curiosity(probably missed it somewhere)but what happened to the contestant, disqualified for cheating?

    thanks! and yep, they were disqualified for using photos that they did not take themselves ;) they were using other people’s photos as their entry, and the official rules CLEARLY stated that you needed to be the photographer of your entry. so, at the end of the contest, i sent ANA an e-mail showing them that the photos they were using were in a simple google search. the photo they used of mt. fuji is like…the most famous photo of mt. fuji ever lol…

    so, not only did they cheat by getting to 1st place within a day, but they used other people’s photos too…

    from january 10th – february 28th, All Nippon Airlines held a contest for 2 round-trip tickets to anywhere in japan. you submitted a photo, and people voted on your entry :)

    AKB48 = just about anywhere in Japan, or mostly the Tokyo Metropolis

    SDN48 = specifically the Donki building in Akihabara

    SKE48 = Nagoya

    NMB48 = Osaka

    HKT48 = Fukuoka

    TWN48 = Taiwan

    Thats if you go to those areas.

    BUT WAIT. NEW CHALLENGER APPEARS!

    Tokyo Girls Style = have no idea where they are as they don’t have theaters…..lol

    also any large poster of any music artists that you see that isn’t inside or near a cd&book store.

    I think that’s it. Don’t want to impose on your time there so if you don’t take a lot of pictures, that’s fine too.

    (HKT48 doesn’t exist….yet. But I hope TWN48 never comes true)

    and hahaha missing! i will do my best! :) for our akihabara day on our itinerary, i actually already had the don quijote store on there as a specific place to visit for you since i found out it was AKB48′s “home” ;)
