    Hello!

I probably should visit the forums more often than I do, but I can get kind of busy.  But I have a question about the words ところ and ばしょ

I tried to say something on lang-8 (which is an awesome site and thanks to TextFugu for recommending it!) and I used ところ because that the word for place from the ANKI deck I got from here at TF.  I had it corrected to ばしょ though and I was wondering what the difference is in when you’d want to use one word over the other.  I’d have asked at lang-8 but I think a Japanese explanation would be a lot harder for me to understand right now even with all the different resources I’ve been using and most of the helpful corrections there have been in Japanese.

Can anyone help me with this?  I’m very grateful!

You’re welcome.  It helped me out a lot, too.
