O.k. So in textfugu I reached here:
“１０００円 を かします”
In wanikani I also encounter せん and 円
Pretty much, all I want to know is this:
When pronouncing １０００円 （せんえん）are you supposed to ignore the ん sounds so it sounds more like ‘se-e-n’? (heres the audio for the first quote: “pronunciation“)
Or is this just one way to say it? (I think what I am trying to ask is, ‘is this common/should I learn it this way only or not?’)

毎秒は一世一代。To me, it sounds like she is saying ” sen en”. I know some people do drop certain sounds from words. I just stick to the way it’s written. If it’s obvious you’re making a mistake with pronouncing a certain word, you’re bound to be told by someone.
When my lecturers say 円 after an ん, it sounds to me like they say “yen”. They were surprised when I asked them about it – apparently it’s just a natural effect of shifting from ん to え.
But now I’m just muddying the waters. It’s “sen-en” =P
