Ah yes, another podcasts thread. The rest are all dead so I figured I’d make one to rule them all.

So I have a small collection of J-podcasts that I enjoy but I want MOAR to listen to, for variety’s sake. I’ve found it hard to find good ones that “stick” with me, so I want to ask if anyone else knows some good ones that they like so I can try them. Subject matter isn’t really an issue, as I won’t understand it anyway.

Other members can use this thread as well to request and recommend to each other.

Also so I come off a little less needy, I’ll recommend some of the ones I like. Call it a trade.

“トータルテンボスのぬきさしならナイト！” is apparently a comedy talk-radio thing. I don’t understand much of it, but from the sounds of it, it doesn’t seem so complicated for more intermediate listeners. Good mix of polite and informal speech, plus the speakers are likable chaps.

“女の子のここだけの話” is a “girls’ talk” kinda thing. I have no idea what they’re talking about half the time, but their voices are cute and pleasant to listen to. It helps fill a void in my life, lol.

“どぉ～でもいいNEWS” is a thing where two people (a man and woman) discuss current events (usually pop-culture events and thing) with a comedic slant. Often fairly easy to get the gist of.

“NHKラジオニュース” is exactly what it says on the tin. NHK news radio in Japanese. Utterly difficult for me to understand, but a good way to find interesting new vocab.

All of these are available in the iTunes Japan store, but not sure if they’re available in other stores (not likely).
