For each question try to give examples from J-drama or anime as much as possible with a little note about why you added it, this can also help people find new shows/music to watch/listen to!
1) Which type of story impacts you the most emotionally? (E.g Tragedy, Comedy*in the modern sense*, Action, fighting, rags-to-ritches etc)
2) Define a “good” plot (Subjective, all your opinion belong to us!)
3) Give an example in a Anime/show where a good plot was ruined by something. What ruined it and what could have saved it?
4) From both fanboy/fangirl perspective, what type of character is the most easy to identify with, and what type of character is the most admirable/badass/want to be him/omfg you own/utter boss?
5) Is it better that a character is not completely powerful, and has many flaws?
6) Do you prefer a story revolving around a solo quest or a group quest?
7) Fan service is great, how much is too much?

realistic story set in a realistic world, where there is no magic/mech or all that stuff… other than that; boobs are always great :D :D3) Give an example in a Anime/show where a good plot was ruined by something. What ruined it and what could have saved it?
Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu (2009) had 6(or so) episodes in a row that were all the same. not just alike, but exactly the same. The point was to show that they got stuck in time. It didn’t ruin the show entirely because I could just skip them, but I didn’t like it.
How to improve it: have 2 episodes with the same story insted of 6- other than that awesome anime – 1st season was best.

Generaly I have a hard time identifying myself with Anime characters due to not having the same culture :(5) Is it better that a character is not completely powerful, and has many flaws?

I think everyone who has watched entire Clannad will agree with me on this one:
Soundtracks can have a very large impact on me emotionally. I still remember crying:( while watching Clannad due to it being so sad. I get this same empty feeling when I listen to the soundtracks once again, and I must say to everyone who hasn’t watch it – DO IT! 1) The dramatic take over the world kind the bloody action filled ones or mystery (as long as the mystery is violent).
2) Something that’s not to impossible… For example in Death Note the only stretch from reality is the notebook itself.
3) n/a
4) The ones who have a goal to change the world for the better like Code Geass and the ones who just like being with their friend like ひぐらしのなく頃に.
5) I like to balance flaws with power, I mean I don’t want the character to very easily resolve the problem or to die/be defeated right away.
6) I’d go for the group quest once. Both are easy to associate yourself with, but the group ones are more sentimental (you get more attached to the characters).
7) There can never be too much fan service, as long as it doesn’t go into the 18+… which hasn’t happened with any anime I’ve seen…Gackt sucks.
