My dictionary suggests “from afar” or “over a great distance”. What’s the context? Context is often important in Japanese.

はるばる just means from afar, over a great distance etc. which I am sure you have been able to look up. The particle と attached here, can mean different thing depending on the context, but if this is all there is given, then I guess all と does is to indicate there is a reaction or something coming after it. ie 言う　思う ← both pretty common, but it there is an endless amount of things that can be attached…
It is hard to see without the context though, so if you provide some more info it might be easier to help :)

Thanks for that. It was the と on the end which was throwing Denshi Jisho and Kotoba on my phone. It found はるばる.

So…Once again been trying to bolster my language exposure via, uh…unorthodox means, and as such, I’m running into a lot of uncommon vocab.

I’m listening to a CD called オジサマ専科; the 「オジサマ」 refers to the fact that the cast has an average age of about thirty, but I don’t quite get the 専科 part. Most sources I’ve checked define it as an either an elective or specialized course (I’m guessing something like college classes), but I don’t really know what the title as a whole is supposed to imply.

何かある特定の分野を専門とするの意。例えば、その特定分野の店舗、雑誌なども指していう（「男性専科」など）。
Therefore, the meaning has to be “specialized for ojisama”, “ojisama speciality” etc..

Goddamnit, I came on the forum to ask one simple question almost an hour ago and am only just now getting around to asking it :P

ギリシャでは１７日、この問題で議会の選挙をもう一度行いました。 – I can’t make out the overall meaning of the sentence, even though I know all the words in it :S Something like “In Greece on the 17th, somethingsomething happened once again.”

Something like “the election of parliament was done on this issue”… but that could probably be worded more naturally.
