hello again… I hope you do not mind translating ff6 :S
i learned much of my english long long long ago by translating (it was ff by the way) so i am using the same method here. the only difference is that i could decompose english scentences (was difficult) at that time. but here, i get lost most of the time and have no clue what many of the kana mean in the scentence.now we have few scentences. i could translate them to something useful with help from google translate but i could not really get the meaning of every part of the scentence. i will give my translation and hope you don’t mind correcting and explaining them.
この娘(むすめ)を先頭(せんとう)にして突っこむ(つっこむ)
ザコにはかまうな。
行くぞ！the first scentence is a bit confusing. i translated it as “Putting this girl in lead”. looks like this guy is not happy with that. but here the verb is not directly after the を. i hope you can give a brief explanaition about it. also, what is して? and lastly, what is 突っこむ? i could not find this one in jisho although there is 突く which is a little close. still, i could not get the exact meaning of 突く. and what is the っこむ?
the next one should be “for zako, i do not mind” or “for zako, i am ok with it”. かまう should mean “to mind”. in here there is a “not” so it is “do not mind”. but where is the “not”? does the な mean “not”?
then there is our famous let’s go! phrase

You’re doing pretty well. Just a small pointer, though: “sentence” doesn’t have a C at the start. =)

Actually, it is – 先頭にする is a kind of する composite verb. AをBにする means “to raise person A to a post or status B”. して is the て-form.

The こむ is 込む – it’s a verb you’ll often see functioning as an auxiliary verb, and it tends to add a meaning of “into” to the original verb. 突っ込む = to thrust something into something.
So… “put this girl into the vanguard and thrust her in” or something like that.

かまうな is the negative imperative form – imperative means “do this!” (or in this case, “don’t do this!”). So this sentence would be “Don’t be concerned about Zako.” Assuming “Zako” is someone’s name.
Just something to note, but ザコ is slang and not anyone’s name here. It’s 雑魚 (zako) being used derogatorily to mean “small fry”. Often used in Japanese gaming lingo to refer to weak, low ranking cannon fodder/lackeys.

this time i have a scentence I could translate to something useful but there are parts i do not get.帝国(ていこく)の思(おも)うようにさせるか！
I translated it to “what is the empire thinking?”
the word 思う is a verb meaning “think”
why is there a verb after the possessive の? I thought の have nouns or adjectives after it.
It would also be helpful if you could give more accurate translation in case mine is not very accurate (I could not see what ようにさせる add to this scentence.Xようにする = try to do X” or “to be sure to X” or “to do X so that …”
させる = causative form of する
Sooo…. not entirely sure. Never been entirely firm on all the umpteen よう constructs. Maybe “is the Empire trying to shape your thinking”? I tried doing a sentence search on Jisho for の思う ( http://jisho.org/sentences?jap=%E3%81%AE%E6%80%9D%E3%81%86&eng= ) and one of the suggested results was 君の思うようにしなさい which is translated as “Just follow your heart.” If that helps at all. =)
帝国の思うようにする would mean “do as the Empire wishes”.
So with the causative form and question marker I’d translate it to something like “Will we allow them to do as the Empire wishes/pleases?” or maybe “Will we allow the Empire do as it wishes/pleases?”.
Ooo, ooo, my turn to ask! What’s the emboldened word (or phrase?) in the following sentence?

Be warned, it’s in old-man edition Osaka-ben. I’ve worked out most of the sentence, it’s just that one bit that I can’t find the meaning of anywhere…

What does いる分けない mean here? The guy was saying something about older people – including himself – having too much self-respect to have a phone glued to their ear (in a short podcast on the topic of the iPad/iPhone), then he says that line. I think he means something like “People like that, I’m not too different from them, really.” but I’m not sure what いる is doing there.

But seriously, though, since you say it’s a podcast, are you sure it’s 分けない and not 訳ない? Because いる訳ない could mean something like “there’s no reason to be like that” or “there’s no way I could be like that”. I guess.
Well, I actually took that from the transcription. It’s possible that the guy made a mistake – I did notice a couple of things that didn’t quite match up with the audio on the first one I listened to / read.
Here’s the whole paragraph it’s from, if it helps:

It seems like he’s talking about himself as well. The most annoying part is that the audio for this episode of the podcast isn’t actually working, so I’ve only got the transcription to go off, no clues from the voice

My guess would be: “People who do that sort of thing (pridefully refrain from talking on the phone all the time)…We don’t need them (phones).”
