Would you mind answering a couple of questions?
Do they accept debit cards? (Don’t really know the big difference between debit and credit… I do know I can’t get a hold of a credit card.)
Will they ship to Mexico?
What shipping option do you use? I was thinking of using SEA since the more you buy the cheaper it gets.
About how long does it take to get by SEA and would you recommend this shipping option?
Oh and how much do you think the average manga weighs? 250g?Yes, they do accept debit cards; I always use mine there, and they’ll ship to Mexico, no problem there. I usually use SEA since I buy novels/manga/blu-rays/whatever every month in large bulk for the most part, but I go with EMS if I order smaller quantities every once in a while. From my experience with SEA, it usually takes around 2 or 3 weeks (shipping to the US). A single tankoubon will weigh around 250g.

I paid a few dollars more to get the next step up (which I believe is EMS standard air?). I think EMS is about 1 week and SEA like Index said is about 2-3.
I just weighed 2 volumes, a more regular Hitman Reborn and the slightly wider Yotsuba. Smaller one was 150g and larger was 205g. You only get your shipping costs once they actually ship it for most options though, but its usually quite good. I think i only paid like $7 to Australia O.o
Thanks, I guess I’ll be buying me some manga and novels this christmas XD.
For a slightly more scientific approach, I weighed a pile of twenty manga, which gave a total of 4160g, for an average of exactly 208g. That said, this included two volumes of Twin Spica, which they’ve been making bigger so they can finish the English translation in twelve volumes instead of sixteen.
But yeah, that’s more than you asked for. I’ll stop now. =)

So as to not make a new thread I’ll ask here:
Does the shipping address have to be in a specific order? It just says Address line 1 2 and 3 and doesn’t really say where to put street name, city, state. What do I put in 配送先名称? An example of all of it would be nice, I just want to make sure everything is right so nothing can screw up.If you’re shipping TO Mexico, write the address in the same order you normally would – it’s the Mexican postal service who are going to need to find you house, after all. The Japanese postal service will understand either way, since even Japanese addresses are written in a different order if they’re in romaji when compared to kanji. Near as I can tell, 配送先名称 means “delivery name” which (I’m pretty sure) is the name of the person who’ll actually be receiving the item.
In regard to bk1, what is the difference between 出荷済み and 出荷完了？ I see that in most guides it explicitly says 出荷完了, and it’s been around 8 weeks since I placed my order… Just thought it might have something to do with it.
All help appreciated!
For what it’s worth my order history says 出荷済, though I’ve not ordered anything in a long time and don’t know if anything has changed.
