A few months ago, my brother recommended the app, Rewire, for me to use for tracking my habits and goals. I decided to try it out and set “studying Japanese” as one of my goals. What it basically does is it allows you to set up a goal and it forms a calendar for that goal. Then, all you have to do is click on the current date and select either “Done”, “Fail”, “Skip” and “Delete” to record your progress towards that goal daily. That way when you look at the end of the month, you can get a sense of how much you’ve accomplished.

I have been using this app for a few months now and it really helped me form some of my goals into habits or “traditions” if you will. It can really encourage you to keep checking off your daily habits..almost like a game! I can’t picture a day without doing my anki flashcards :). Good luck~
