Also, gotta be a bit careful when using IME – you’ve somehow managed to write “syonara” =P
Hmm, cute sushi would be… one of those artistically rolled 巻きずし I think. Personally, I like いなりずし a lot (being a fox XD) but those are definitetly not cute.
Anyway, welcome.
Edit: looked up the proper term, 飾り巻きずし or just 飾りずし。

I think it’s fairly safe to say that いなりずし is about as un-cute as sushi gets. =P
Oh , sorry . I’m really new and I didn’t see these comments .
I guess I should work on my introduction ( if you can even call it that ) . I’m a 17 year-old from the United States’ Mid West . I’m learning Japanese because I hope to study abroad there in the future and maybe even make a life for myself in the country , though I understand the likely hood of that actually happening . Oh well …I can dream . haha As for my username , I don’t know why I chose it . It sounded like a good idea at the time . Sushi can be cute , I guess . Haha .
Oh well . I hope to make some good friends here and continue my studies .

No, “yo” was correct. It’s just somehow you managed to write a small yo.

さょならThat said, さよなら is a fairly final farewell, or at least a long-term farewell – you’d only really use it if you weren’t expecting to be back for a while. じゃね or またね would be more typical to use here. =)
I’ve been going by さよなら meaning ‘long term goodbye/farewell’ too (and have seen it used that way), but recently found conflicting opinions from Japanese natives, who say it’s actually just more formal. Perhaps this would be best in the ‘I found some Japanese I don’t understand thread’, but I was wondering if using a formal term with people you would normally speak informally with, is what gives it the conotation of ‘farewell’? While using it in formal circumstances just means goodbye?
Inarizushi sounds awesome, I’d never heard of it before :D But how can you say it’s not cute?

Also, how did you manage to type the small yo and small ya? I mean, I know how they’re typed, but I don’t know why you typed xyo and xya instead of just yo and ya haha

How can you have not tried inarizushi? Get thee to a sushi train! Or whatever your local equivalent is! (Mind you, I hesitate to suggest it, because it’s possible to do it badly, which might put you off, but there’s not really a way I could make a suggestion with any guarantee, so… try a bunch of different places?)
As for the image, nice try, but it’s just the culinary equivalent of giving an eyesore a paint job. Underneath it’s still the same old inarizushi. =P
Also, I’ve long since given up trying to work out which tags need to be in UBB code and which in HTML, and which just plain don’t work at all…
Yeah I had a look at the How-To thread to see which sort of tags were needed and that’s what I used, the [ img ] [ /img ] ones.

Maybe you typed IMG in caps? Photobucket’s handy copy-and-paste boxes have the tags in caps, but that doesn’t work for another forum I frequent, so I’m always having to re-do the tags anyway…
