My name is Bill and I’ve been attempting to learn Japanese for quite some time now but have never really known where to start. This site looks like a decent place to at least grow some roots and beginning somewhere so I just wanted to get on here and say hello.

My main goal in learning Japanese is to be able to speak to some of my Japanese friends who live in Tokyo in their native language, as well as ultimately being able to publish a written work of fiction in the Japanese tongue.

I hope I can reach these goals, I’m fairly motivated for this.
