My interest in japan started in the usual way, anime, the very first being sailor moon haha, i was probably about 4 or 5, and then to help, my older brother is a total nerd, and has always loved anime and japanese women.

I became curious of the culture and language and absolutely fell in love, so I decided when I was 15 that i’d go to japan for my 18th birthday.

Over that time span I attempted to learn japanese from a native speaker, through random online resources, and college (epic fail) and I’ve finally settled with immersing myself and studying with textfugu!~

I’ve also always enjoyed listening to j-rock, and asian food in general, not to mention tea. I can’t handle the coffee side effects so i switched to green tea.

But basically, I want to travel the world, and learn many different languages, study different cultures and religions, and of course try authentic foods. I planned to start with Japan and I plan to end with Japan, It has something that draws me in, and makes me feel at home. :)

Does that count as a life story? :p

Oh, man. You are my buddy. GazettE is so stylish, and all of their stuff is so artfully done. The PVs for Invisible Wall and Before I Decay are just… indescribably great.

Versailles is great if you like stylish bands like GazettE. They’re more like symphonic power metal-ey, though. Check em out.

And welcome to textfugu. I love it when I have new Jrock buddies. There are a few around the forum.
