Yep. Syncing in Anki 2 with the new android app works great. New decks, Audio, Progression, Schedules. It’s all good. Haven’t got any issues with it yet.

I’ve been using Anki 2.0 since season 2 now (Never used Anki before TextFugu). Upgrading did work for me. Importing decks is a bit different since it puts everything in a new seperated deck. But you can drag it and put it below a different deck (which acts as a catagory then). I actually like this method since you can easily do only vocab, or everything in a big mix if you want to :P.

The best “new” feature I actually use the most is Syncing. Most of the time I do Anki sessions on my mobile (It’s easy to sit somewhere else where you won’t be disrupted, or just for those times when you have to wait for something). Syncing actually works well. all decks and all attached media works great in the android app. Even the progress is syncronized.

So yea, For me it is an improvement. But I’m not really an advanced user of Anki, I just follow Koichi’s instructions and try to do everything Anki wants me to do every day.
