Merry Christmas!~ ^^
“…maybe do 4 or 5 kanji every second day, leaving that extra day to review the kanji you’ve already “learned” the previous day.”
Well there’s a nice idea.
My goals are:
- Finish “Genki II” by the end of the year (that’s my main resource after TextFugu, though I do mix with other books and Tae kim’s guide).
- Definitely post more on lang-8.
- Learn at least 10 new words a day where from those I learn at least 5 Kanji.Happy Thanksgiving! Though we don’t celebrate it here either. I’m having my first Thanksgiving celebration at work :D yay!~
With college, I totally forgot about it D: I’ll try to get in as often as I can! ^^
Oh thanks!, I thought it was just me ~ I’ve been blaming my browser xD. Now it works ^^
Today I learnt the てform >.< and I also learnt another use of 中 thanks to jkl's post :)
I had cake for breakfast! Left over from my brother’s yesterday birthday party. Still so delicious~
Btw~ applebutter? Never heard of it o.o, Is it sweet?
October 26, 2011 at 5:52 am in reply to: Incorporating Japanese into Your Hobbies/ Everyday Life #19808Whoa that is just sooo cute!~ And that is neat handwriting.
So what I do, basically is, I turn the languange of what I usually use to Japanese, I talk with my Japanese friend on skype, I watch Japanese series or films and as I am really interested in Japanese culture and history I try to read the info in Japanese. It’s still a bit hard because of all the kanji but the more I read the better I get at it :)
Also I would like to ask, have any of you used any web to find Japanese penpals, or just to talk to a Japanese person? Is it safe? xD As I have my friend I never thought of using that, but you never know x)
I said to myself that as I had for lunch my mum’s special macaroni I would post it here, but… I ate it all forgetting to take a pic x___x It looked so nice…
@kaona sometimes it happens that it’s been so many hours that you don’t feel hungry, but if you’re not sick or anything, your body still wants food even though you don’t notice it xD
LOL XDDDD That was very illustrative, Ryuuguu xDDDDDDDD
I’m going in the end also on April 2012 :) so… yea, ideas, tips, etc.. are always good to know ^^
おかえり!~ yay, Kaona is back :D It’ll be nice having you around here again!
Mhmm… I do put the cards in random order… But I do that when I have already gone through them once in order. Just open the deck and there are three “flaps” click on New cards and where it says display order, just change it to “show new cards in random order”. Then you can do the same where it says Reviews… select “Review cards in random order”. Hope it helped :)
Nice post KiaiFighter ^^
My goals aren’t much different than those posted before but… Here they go :)
-Write in lang-8 at least once or twice a week
-Read everyday, making me learn kanji along with that
-Being able to produce my own kinda complex sentences (writing and speaking) without being terribly slow. Also as Armando said, some things are implied (Anki reviews…)
Btw~ The book you recommended Elenkis, looks quite good. I hope I can get my hands on it, I don’t know if it’s available here in Spain.
August 5, 2011 at 8:59 am in reply to: Will be in a car for ~60 Hours. What do you want me to work on? #15104I agree with most people here, core lessons :D
And I’m quite interested on the kanji workbook. I think it would be very helpful. -
