Oh thanks for the connect (even if you do not know them personally). I will check out their work. In terms of a visa, I think it maybe best for me to get a religious visa since I will be doing missionary work. I do not intend to go back to school. I already have a Bachelors in Psychology. I’m 33 by the way.

And yes, I do live near a Japanese consul here in Philadelphia. Unfortunately, I have not reached out to them yet. I will probably do so in a couple of months. I’d like to impress them with the things I learn here in Textfugu.

Thank you again my new Tomadachi.

    Hi Joel,

Thanks for the response. That’s awesome that you know missionaries in Kobe! And yes, I am a Christian. I recently started a nonprofit called Lion of Judah Int’l Ministries. You can check out my website at http://www.roarfather.com. The website is not complete yet though.

I’m actually networking now and have had success connecting with a few others in Japan. If there is anyway you think your connections can help me, I’d greatly appreciate it. No pressure though. Originally, I tried reaching out to organizations that I thought would sponsor my efforts there. Sadly, since I didn’t know the language or culture well enough … my efforts failed. Getting a visa is tough too. Simply put, I am simply not ready yet. This is why I am studying Textfugu!
