    I’ve just started on the な adjective section. I’ve gone through the lesson and its examples and I’m still a little unclear on the difference in meaning when the な adjective comes before the noun compared to after the noun.

    Does anyone have any good examples or definitions to help?

    its just like in english really. “the black cat” vs “the cat is black”.

    For a Japanese example:

    この本が好きです – I like this book (or, this book is likeable)
    これは好きな本です – this is the book that I like (or, this is a likeable book)
