Let’s keep going with this conversation from the jdrama Good Life.
Today’s Sentence is:
とても空気が澄んだ3月の朝。
1. What does とても mean?
2. What does 空気が澄んだ mean?
3. What does the whole sentence mean?
4. What bit grammar was omitted?
–
Good luck! In some ways this one is a bit easier, in some ways it might be a bit harder than the last one.

2. air cleared; past tense, related to weather.
3. I going to say “The mornings in March had very clear skies.”
4. Hmm, I was bit uncertain about ordering of this sentence; perhaps there’s a particle missing that would have made things a bit more clear?August 17, 2011 at 6:36 pm #15834my guesses:
とても空気が澄んだ3月の朝。
1. very
2. air became clear
3. air was clear during March mornings
4. no verb at end. or no particle before the 3?

“Very”

The です or だ at the end. Being casual, I guess.
