You’ve got your の backwards. The owner goes before and the owned goes after. since the sushi belongs to Japan, it should be 日本のすし. To treat verbs like nouns (called nominalizing) you can usually leave them in the dictionary (plain) form and add こと after them. I like to eat – 食べることが好きです.
So the full thing is 私は日本のすしを食べることが好きです。

Not bad though. People could figure out what you meant I’m sure.

The conjugations are different for う and る verbs (or “Group 1″ and “Group 2″ as TextFugu calls them). Then there’s also the usual exceptions of する and 来る.

きます、くる、きた、こない、こい… that’s one annoying little verb hehe

How do I say “any more”? or something like it…

I don’t have a car any more.
The shoes aren’t expensive any more.
Bob isn’t here any more.
I’m not a doctor any more.

@missingno15: Why are you asking that? You know how to say it. You also didn’t “just finish Season 2″ either. What’s with the whole “acting like you’ve just started” thing of late? Do you feel you don’t fit into the community much any more or something, trying to fit in with the new guys? :P

How do I ask where something is in a supermarket context? Like if i were to ask a worker to help me locate an item
