My name is KD and there are a bunch of reasons why I chose to learn Japanese! The main one being that I would love to travel to Japan frequently, maybe even get married to a native woman, and settle down there. I would also like to be able to watch Japanese shows and movies. It breaks my heart not being able to understand much and have to use subtitles. :/
