I’ve tried that site and it looks useful but it’s too messy. Sometimes lessons put furigana for kanji in brackets after the kanji which is great but often there are no brackets and it’s just after which is really awkward to read.
E.g. 波なみが高たかい。
Breaks my concentration too much.I think I remember him talking about fixing that.
How long has it been since you were there?
I went there yesterday and the problem was still there. It’s been on most of the pages I’ve looked at o_O
That’s discouraging. I haven’t used it myself as I’m still slowly crawling through TF, but I had planned on using that next. I might have to to yell at Seth a bit to get him to start working on that so it’ll be ready for me when I get there. ^_^
Haha, nice idea. Good luck with that. Imabi does look good so I hope it’s fixed up so I can use it soon. Until then, I’ll use Genki I guess~~

Genki’s really good too from everything I’ve read.
I just finished season 1 after about 5 days, i’m afraid i’m going a bit fast, But I am putting consistently no less than 3 (sometimes 6… I think I got too excited) hours a day into it. While not physically studying I was trying to visual the kana throughout the day. I’m definitely going to slow down a bit so I don’t get bogged down in an information overload.
And also just started poking around the forum. Seems like I missed the golden age of Textfugu. That was a bit discouraging reading some stuff because I would have enjoyed being apart of that, especially since I originally wanted to start studying japanese in 2009. This terrible hangover is definitely not helping the situation.
Moving past that, I am ready to continue the journey! I’m going to try and post here when I can, it could be nice to see more folks posting here on a regular basis.
Well once the updates come through we will be ushered into the modern age of TF, which will hopefully be even better than the golden age. Waiting for it is the only problem.
