I suppose when you try to explain something about a language it may sound really complicated, but if one just keeps practising he or she will obtain a “feel” for what has to be used in each case… At least this is how I console myself.

In case you do decide to go ahead with Russian I will be more than happy to help, support and encourage. Russian is not easy but may be useful…in the end until an alternative source of fuel is found Russia is the one with huge undiscovered reserves (smile). Who knows? I have beed to Japan a couple times, hope to go there again. I have an enormous respect for this nation and its culture. So just wanted to be able to read and say a few words to show my respect! And I think learning a foreign language is a brilliant brain training!
