Kanji 9

“Until you value yourself, you won’t value your time. Until you value your time, you will not do anything with it.” – M. Scott Peck

From Season 8 onward TextFugu will be using version 2.0 of Anki. Version 2.0 decks don’t work on older version of Anki, but older version decks do work on Anki 2.0, so you’ll have to upgrade your application in order to use the decks going forward.

Before you even begin, you should read through the radicals that make up these kanji. You can start with “Someone” and work your way though until “Devil.”

Radicals 9, Start!

When you’ve read through you should be okay to learn the kanji. Be sure to check back at the radicals pages if you’re having trouble with any of the below kanji. Now to kanji.

Kanji 9 actually covers the entire season. It will allow you to read most / all of the text in this season (if you can’t, look it up, this practice is good for you!). It will teach you the words you need to know this season as well as some words associated with the kanji you’ve just learned. It’s sort of a long list, but take your time going through it so that the following lessons can go smoothly as well (and you can focus on what you’re learning, not the kanji and vocab portions).
