Looks like I’m just finishing up Season 2. Presently working through that last bit Kanji. I told myself to go a bit slower, but I think I actually enjoy the higher pace. I’ve pretty much given up tv and games, so I’ve got a lot more time. I do try save a bit a free time for noodling around on the guitar, and I’ve found that playing/singing a bit while going through Anki helps reinforce some of the more difficult vocab.
Getting excited for Season 3!!
I just finished season 1 after about 5 days, i’m afraid i’m going a bit fast, But I am putting consistently no less than 3 (sometimes 6… I think I got too excited) hours a day into it. While not physically studying I was trying to visual the kana throughout the day. I’m definitely going to slow down a bit so I don’t get bogged down in an information overload.
And also just started poking around the forum. Seems like I missed the golden age of Textfugu. That was a bit discouraging reading some stuff because I would have enjoyed being apart of that, especially since I originally wanted to start studying japanese in 2009. This terrible hangover is definitely not helping the situation.
Moving past that, I am ready to continue the journey! I’m going to try and post here when I can, it could be nice to see more folks posting here on a regular basis.
